Valerie & Jean-Claude Joyal

Posted on by admin

Valerie and Jean-Claude Joyal have been pastoring for over 35 years. Their Church “L’Eglise Le Chemin” in Hull, Quebec, has grown over the years, allowing them to step down from active ministry and leaving the role of lead Pastor to one of their early converts. They now travel the world sharing the Father’s heart of reconciliation. Jean-Claude was destined in his Quebec Roman Catholic family to become a priest but God had other plans. Late in his teens, speaking and understanding not a word of English, he wandered into a little English Pentecostal Church and encountered God. Plans changed and he went on to Bible School ending up in Texas a long way from his French home.

God put a deep desire in heart to share the good news in his French-speaking province and over the years God has opened many amazing doors for him to walk through. He married Valerie, an English-Canadian, and that started his own walk of reconciliation between French and English. Over the years, God’s work of reconciliation in his life has lead him to share throughout Canada (Watchmen For The Nations, The Gatherings) and to many parts of the world.

Valerie and Jean-Claude reside in Hull, Quebec, and have two boys (Mario and Tony) both involved in active ministry. They are proud grandparents to seven grandchildren.
